What To Expect

What Can I Expect At PVCC?

When visiting us for a Sunday morning at PVCC, you can find coffee and conversation in the cafe as early as 9:00am, and you can be as social as you're ready for in the morning. On the first Sunday of each month, donuts are found in the cafe as well!
- At 9:30, Bible Studies begin, where smaller groups have a more in-depth study of a section of the Bible. This time is great for those who want to ask questions as we go through Scripture. We have a women's Bible Study class, an adults class, a teens class, and a children's class. Childcare for infants is also provided during this time as well as the 10:30 service.
- At 10:30, our Worship Service begins. After a short welcome and prayer, we sing a few praise songs, thanking God for what He's done and worshipping His name. Our songs are a mix of contemporary songs and older hymns that have stood the test of time.
- After singing, we have a time of communion where a member of the Church gives a testimony or illustration that helps us connect to the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for our sins. We do this every Sunday and eat the bread/drink the juice all together once we're ready.
- This leads into a sermon that is Scripture focused with an option for taking notes on our handouts.
- We close with another song, setting the tone for living out what we've learned over the next week. After service, there will be plenty of time for conversations and encouragement, so don't feel like you have to leave right away!
